Help Launch our Nonprofit!

Transformative Soil and Landscapes needs your help launching our nonprofit so that we can start giving the gift of life in the form of edible landscapes in people’s backyards. We need to hit our goal of $8,000 on our GoFundMe to purchase tools and equipment to begin the transformation. Read more about our mission and donate at our GoFundMe page.

Permaculture is an approach to land management that uses natural ecosystems as a model for creating flourishing landscapes. Using a set of permaculture design principles that have been observed within nature we mimic the resiliency and low maintenance characteristics of  these natural ecosystems to create abundance with minimal inputs.

Soil Biology is perhaps one of the most important parts of a natural ecosystem and healthy plants without the use of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or fertilizers. Transformative Soil and Landscapes utilizes microscopy to analyze soils and prescribe methods that will improve the biology within your soil and on your plants to create abundance without ever needing to do any sort of amendments or treatments leaving your plants and produce with the highest nutrition and flavor - the way nature intended.

Drought is a real concern in California. Through rainwater catchment design we can utilize earthworks, rainwater harvesting, and low water usage plants to decrease the demand on supplemental irrigation.

Education is a very important tier within the mission of Transformative Soil and Landscapes. To see that mission forward we offer workshops, volunteer training, and train our members in the process of creating their food forests. We also provide resources such as videos and articles that can be found on our YouTube channel and Social Media pages.
